1,2-Hexaneediol is a water-soluble liquid with colorless, odorless surfactant properties and is mainly used as a cosmetic preservative for its excellent moisturizing and antibacterial properties. Paraben, the existing cosmetic preservative, was developed as an alternative ingredient as cancer risk and various harmful effects were known.
This ingredient was used first in France and Germany, and is known to be a highly stable EWG first-class raw material, and is currently used in almost all cosmetics in Korea as its demand has greatly expanded. It is also a very useful product for making stable natural cosmetics for heat, light, and PH. It is known to have 6 months of preservative effect when using 2% and 12 months when using 3% of the product, and it can maximize its effectiveness when used with our product, Glyceres-26.

FEATURES AND EFFECTIVENESS

1,2-Hexaneediol is a colorless liquid that is absorbent.
It is a versatile solvent that is good to use as a cushion, moisturizer, and wet agent for cosmetics and skin care products, and can promote or assist the preservation of cosmetic products.
It creates a biological environment that prevents microbial propagation, and can be combined with yeast and fungicides such as the Eco-CHA (Caprylhydroxamic Acid) for a wide range of spectrum protection, particularly against bacteria.
It can also be used in cosmetic emulsion systems such as skin care cream and lotion as a moisturizer and solvent, or in surfactant-based products such as shower gel, facial cleanser, and shampoo. .
When used in emulsion, it is recommended to use water integrated, soluble in oil and available in anhydrous formulation.
